Please note: Reservations are required for all entries between 9am and 2pm. Certain areas of the park require special reservations. Get there early in the morning or wait until the afternoon. If you arrive between 7am-11am, you'll likely wait in line for over an hour.

Take a tour of the hotel made famous by the movie "The Shining." They offer historic tours, ghost tours, and even a tour dedicated to "The Shining."

Boulder is just a 25 minute drive from Lyons and is situated right up against the foothills. Places to visit: Pearl Street has some good shopping and eating options; Chautauqua Park has excellent hiking trails; University of Colorado has incredible views and stunning architecture; the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is gorgeous and offers high tea.

Watch a show, do yoga, or just explore the park. The amphitheatre is open to the public all day on non-show days and until 2pm on show days. They have a museum and lots of hiking trails.

An interactive, psychedelic art exhibit. You can easily spend hours uncovering secret lore or just wandering the countless rooms.
