Shortly after moving to Colorado, Thomas was introduced to Emily through a game of Among Us with friends. To this day, she still claims he stole her hiding spot. A few months later, we reconnected and went on a brunch date. The date went so well that we stayed well into the afternoon despite Emily having a night shift in a few hours. Three years, two apartments, and one cat named Ralph later, Thomas took Emily out for brunch. Just like our first date, it ended with a walk in the park. During that walk, Thomas pulled her aside and proposed. Now here we are getting ready to tie the knot!

Below you can find some of our reecommend lodging options. Stone Mountain Lodge is our preferred option since it is the site of our wedding. If you are not planning on staying in Lyons, we recommend staying in a hotel in Longmont, as it is just 20 minutes away, and the drive is safer and straighter than to Estes Park. Unfortunately, we do not have a block code for any lodging. We recommend booking a room as soon as you know that you will be joining us. If you have any questions about the location in relation to the wedding, please feel free to reach out. For immediate family and wedding party: please contact the bride and groom before booking.

Stone Mountain Lodge

Just a 3 minute drive from the venue, choose from a variety of places to stay at Riverside. You can stay in a large mountain cabin with three bedrooms or a cozy one-bedroom with a full kitchen and fireplace.

Located in the heart of Lyons, and just 7 minutes from the venuw, A-Lodge has 11 units ranging from small kitchenettes to a three bedroom Victorian house.

Please note: Reservations are required for all entries between 9am and 2pm. Certain areas of the park require special reservations. Get there early in the morning or wait until the afternoon. If you arrive between 7am-11am, you'll likely wait in line for over an hour.

Rocky Mountain National Park

Take a tour of the hotel made famous by the movie "The Shining." They offer historic tours, ghost tours, and even a tour dedicated to "The Shining."

The Stanley Hotel

Boulder is just a 25 minute drive from Lyons and is situated right up against the foothills. Places to visit: Pearl Street has some good shopping and eating options; Chautauqua Park has excellent hiking trails; University of Colorado has incredible views and stunning architecture; the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is gorgeous and offers high tea.

Watch a show, do yoga, or just explore the park. The amphitheatre is open to the public all day on non-show days and until 2pm on show days. They have a museum and lots of hiking trails.

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

An interactive, psychedelic art exhibit. You can easily spend hours uncovering secret lore or just wandering the countless rooms.

Meow Wolf Denver's Convergence Station

You'll be in colorful Colorado. Go out and hike! Some of our recommendations are Button Rock Preserve, Eldorado Canyon State Park, and Flatirons Vista. Check out AllTrails if you need help finding a good trail.
